I'm getting ready to apply for financial aid but I'm in A WEIRD living situation! help!??!?

heres the deal.
i graduated high school in january and i'm applying to suny canton in New York for mortuary science.

i'm in the process of apply for tons of financial aid because i honestly dont have $1 to my name.

i'm in a weird living situation and i dont know what information to put for my parents....
when they divorced while i was in 5th grade, i moved in with my grandparents...
recently last year, i moved in with my boyfriend and his parents.
they provide shelter and food and thats it.
do i need to put their information on the fafsa or other forms...?

RIGHT NOW--- i'm living with my boyfriend in his apartment... i dont have a job yet and i'm very confused about where i should say my address is, what my parents' information is or anything....

if anyone could point me in the right direction of what to do... i would appreciate it!
i'm going to college next fall so i should get the paperwork done soon.

THANK YOU! =]

For the FAFSA, you have to provide information for one biological parent. Use your address that you live at and only provide parental information if you actually have their taxes.
It sounds like you might qualify for a dependency override at your college. Call the financial aid department to schedule an appointment with a counselor and explain your situation. They might be able to give you the override so it would go off of your income only. This way, your chances of getting a Pell grant would be much greater. You usually have to explain that you have not had contact with your parents since you were in the 5 grade and have 2 other individuals (maybe your grandma and boyfriend's mom?) to write letters attesting to the fact.

Good Luck!

Anyone interested in financial aid for college should sign up on www.fastweb.com.
This is the best scholarship search engine I've found for getting specific scholarships for what you want to do.
They do all the sorting, and just send you information for the scholarships you qualify for. Legitimate ones!

These scholarships won't ask for specific living situations...
