The knowledge one has in economics can motivate the individual into voting for a politician to aid our economy

The knowledge one has in economics can motivate the individual into voting for a politician to aid the economy, but how much does the information one knows weigh in on their decision?

The more involved government is with the economy
the worse it becomes. In our "managed economy" the results are superficial at best.Supply and demand drive the economy, not government attempts to "redistribute" wealth. The Federal Reserve is not a panacea, it is reactionary and stifles both real growth and real opportunity.

???

WHICH "one"?

It's simply not true that all voters are swayed by exactly the same things. Or that a given voter is swayed by the same things in the same way over the course of their voting lives.

It's also not true that every voter has exactly the same amount of, or same type of understanding of economic issues.

For me, the big issue is the growning chasm between the very, very few who own almost everything, and all the people who do all the work and are not compensated for it. Yes, that effects my vote (which is why I like Edwards, and HATE Hilary, who I see as corporate-owned).
