What are the best sources when looking for a college?

I would like sources with information on many colleges, financial aid, student life, and opportunities to travel abroad. Thanks.

Go to collegeboard.com or collegeconfidential.com. They both give very good statistical information about colleges and universities as well as admissions, study abroad opportunities, and anything else you may be looking for, especially if you can't find what you're looking for at your school's guidance office. Both of these websites will leave you with little or no question.

Go to your high school's career center or college information office, Im pretty sure that most high schools have one, and the people that work in them are usually very helpful. They should have information on all colleges around the country and even abroad.

Sorry, this isn't about sources, but the best advice I can give is to check the transfer rate/graduation rate at any school you are considering. I found out that most people at the school I originally went to transferred before graduating. What do you know, I did too! Also, research what it really takes to get into your career field. Some careers need graduate degrees, but they don't tell you that as a freshman. Good Luck!
