Can you work out and be taking B-12 injections? |
I started a workout program and healthy eating habits in December and have lost 15 pounds. I went to the doctor recently and learned that I have a B12 defficiency so I started a series of 6 injections (1 a week for 3 weeks and then 1 a month for three months) today. Is there any need for me to change my eating or workout plan and I have heard that B12 aids in weight loss? Anybody got some information for me??? thanks y'all You might find the link below informative There is no need to change your diet or exercise routine. B12 helps you with your energy . if you don't get enough though it can cause degradation of your nerves, spinal cord and brain. If you want to try to incorporate it into your diet because even B12 shots do not fully absorb due to lack of intrinsic factor in your stomach, you could try to eat foods like oysters, salmon, and beef liver. I know those don't sound too good but that's where B12 is mostly in food. There is no reason to change anything |
