Gain weight food?

Please list information about food to aid me gain weight.. Im 23, standing at 1.66m tall and 48kg.

Don't just do the pasta and sugar thing. Your system will go crazy with all the sugar. You will get hyper and then crash. You want consistancy and health. My brother had to gain weight so he did protein shakes with raw eggs in them. Not bad. You could go to a health food store and get protein powder to add to a shake.
I have basically heard of two things: build your muscle mass by lifting weights and eat a good amount of protein (nuts, meats)

You may not require to add more than 4-5 kgs. Some of the food item, which may help you are:
Bananas taken with milk, Mangoes, Milk products and sweets made from milk, Lichi,Beer, Mutton and Chicken(If you are non Veg)

Well, if you're positively thin and have already tried gorging yourself with food, your metabolism might be more of a problem. Do you simply fidgit a lot? A study was done on people who were generally thinner regardless of their diet and it was found that they simply ued more energy by constant small motions. Anyways, the best way to gain weight by food is carbs. Fat foods may seem like the key, but fat absorption by the body is limited. Of course, eating both works fine. Unused carbs are eventaully turned into fat. If you would like to gain weight in muscle mass, just stuff yourself with protein from eggs and shakes and do strength exercises.
