How can I get aid to complete my degree??

After 20 years of being a stay-at-home mom, my husband and I are gettin a divorce. I have no income at the moment and really havent been able to afford college tuition. I was hoping someone had been thru a similar situation and could give me some information on how to get aid...Thanks

First and foremost, file your FAFSA as soon as January 1 rolls around. That will get the aid process rolling:

Next, start hunting for scholarships. There's a directory online of scholarships for women who are non-traditional students:

Depending on what you qualify for, you may be eligible for a Stafford federal student loan or a private student loan:

The Stafford loan is governed by the FAFSA, so be sure to do that first.
