My mom is kicking me out with no where to go, what can I do?

My mom kicked me out because Im 18 and I have no where to go. What can I do? I am currently working but she toke my car so now I cant get there? Also Im a senior and want to atttend college. I know that they ask for your parents information for financial aid but she wont give it to me. How can I get the help I need without her. I really want to finish school and go to college to become a doctor and I worked so hard for this and made it to the top of my class but now thats looking impossible. Any suggestions.

I dont have the heart to move in with friends and impose on them. Its not really their problem. My relatives have a hard time dealing with their own kids so thats not going to work. I dont have so much a problem getting to work as getting home. Do buses even run at midnight? Also my house is way to far from my school. No bus can take me there. Ive started lookinf for apartments and roommates but there are some scary people out there and idont want the person i pick to be crazy or something. I can survive on my own two feet I just dont know how.

Do you have any friends or family that would let you stay with them for a while? Check craigslist.com for rooms for rent or free rent in exchange for nanny jobs. If your mom won't sign for financial aid, you won't be eligible for anything until you are 25yrs. old. I would recommend trying to get your first two years done at a community college if you can afford it or you can finish high school and get a job. Either look for something at a hospital, work as a Personal Care attendant or go for something that pays you decent like sales. Talk to your high school counselor and ask them for resources. Your dreams can still happen just maybe in a different timeline. Find out the bus schedules in your town so you can get to work.

move in with some friends

Seems like your mom is horrible. You should seek help of other relatives from your family. Maybe an Aunt or Uncle?

Try your local church or talk to somebody at your school. They should have some answers for you.Good luck!

see if you can room up with some of your friends...or a children's shelter till may....
military might be a way to go if you dont get any scholarships....free college

why did she kick you out?

see if you can stay with a friend and then get an apartment

join the military.

If you can stay with a friend for now do it. It will give you time to figure things out. Where do you live? Since you are still in school she is still responsible for you even though you are 18. What happened for her to throw you out? Talk to one of your teachers at school and they will know what to do. As far as college, I do not know what they do if your parents refuse to give you financial information. Do you have a guidance counselor? These are questions for them to answer. They will know where to point you. DO NOT GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAM OF A COLLEGE EDUCATION. You owe it to yourself to be the best that you can be. It will be hard without your parents help but you can do. Prove to your mother that you are a fighter and you can do it alone since she chose that road for you. You have worked too hard to give up on yourself now. Start with a friend and then with the school. There is help out there for you. Good luck son.

Why is she kicking you out? i feel for you, are you sure you have no one to stay with? i hope you manage to sort your self out.

go to relatives or friends, by the way, how are you on a computer if you got kicked out of the house.

what did you do that she kicked you out? she just kicked you out because you are 18 years old? what a ******

why did you get kicked out?

Hate to sound mean, but WHY did she kick you out?
I find that most moms are not going to just do that without some kind of reason.
It's called TOUGH LOVE!
My good friend did this the other day...BUT her daughter was into drugs, sex with some pretty rough guys, didn't come home all the time, yelled and screamed at her family, etc. It came down to what was better for the family...AND HER DAUGHTER IS 18 AND HAS A JOB.
I almost thought about asking you if your name is Courtney...whoops...now I've asked!
If this is not the scenario...then I feel for you. Maybe call a local church and find somewhere to go if you don't feel like calling on a friend to help.
Good luck. And if you are Courtney...GROW UP!
