What are the steps for registering for on-line schooling?

I was interested in enrolling for on-line courses and programs, but I'm needing financial aid assistance information as well as what all is involved with getting started.

My advice to you is to check with your state homeschool agency. They are a wealth of information on EXACTLY how things work in your particular state.
For example, where I live, homeschooling is not regulated by the state, therefore each family is pretty much on their own when it comes to paying. Some companies offer payment plans and discounts for mulitple students, but not really any grants or scholarships or things like that.
We do, however have one homeschool program (at least one that I know of) that is not only fully accredited but "recognized" by our state education agency (meaning credits transfer to publicschools and transcripts are state issued transcripts) and they do offer scholarships. Good thing, because it is expensive!
I learned all this with a simple phone call to my state homeschool agency, which saved me tons of research time on the net.

You need to contact the online school in question. They will help you out with THEIR registration steps, which may or not be the same as other online schools.
