HELP! my dog is hurt and I need information?

I came home and my dog "Casey" a rescue dog from the Cleveland Ohio kennels was crying and cant walk very good. She is only 2 yrs old and when I came home she was limping all over her bottom of foot is OK BUT I think it is a joint fracture or something?
Every time I would come home she would jump like a kanggaroo
I dont know what to do! Is their some type of Financial aid assistance so I can have her looked at ( like a BOB BARKER FUND? ) I can afford to feed her healthy food, get my baby her yearly shots and have her dipped every year for fleas and buy her toys but the Doctor bill is going to absolute break me and I am scared. I am single mother of two - I am so distraught and so scared. Is their a city program that I CANT find in Cleveland, Ohio. I have been searching all weekend

Take her to your regular vet they will usually help with payments. Like set up a payment you can live with. Also as much as you love the dog I can not believe you haven't called someone already. I am sorry you really should give her up if you can't afford to take care of her in an emergency, it is not fair to the dog. It is also not fair to your children to watch her in pain and what will it teach them about having a pet when they are older that it does not matter if I get her a doctor its only a dog.

yes you should be able to get help with this... i suggest you speak to your vet and they can give you the inormation you need... the same thing happened with my cat.xx

Our vet will let us pay it out. You must have a vet since you get her shots every year. Just ask them. I'm sure they will look at her for free, or cheap. If not, try another vet.

call your local aspca,they should of vets that are either low cost or have payments based on your income.

There are a ton of offices that accept CareCredit. It is a revolving line of credit that can be used at doctors, dentists and vet offices. They offer 3, 6 and 12 months same as cash. Have you tried calling a local vet to see if they know of anything? Or even the human society if they know any programs? Hopefully the vets will be able too look at her and not charge ...

Call around to veteranarians. Many of them will allow you to make payments on services. The cost may not be as bad as you think. Also, check on-line and see if there is a veteranary school or shelter in your area. They may know of a place to get a reduced rate. The longer you wait, the more pain your animal goes through and the medical costs can be componded by delays. I hope your dog is better soon.
