Where can i find grant and scholarship information for education on the internet.?

I want to go back to school and I am looking for financial aid and grants. I already understand the FAFSA such as student loans etc...i keep hearing there are government grants and scholarships that the government "gives" away if you qualify however every website i check wants you to pay for that information. Has anyone ever used the government grants websites or knows how to get this information for free?

By filling out the FAFSA you will get a financial aid letter with you were given from you school. This includes some scholarships, grants, and student loans. Obviously for the government to give you "free" money in the form of a grant you have to be low income. I have gotten several different kinds of grants simply by filling out the fafsa. I know of no other ways to get govt. money. The fafsa is the free application for FEDERAL student aid. So you see that is the place to go. There is no magical website that will get you grant money it is a scam.

I wouldn't pay for any information about scholarships or grants.

Check with the financial aid office of the schools you want to go to -- they can direct you to reputable information -- also, many schools have their own scholarships and grants.
