I want to volunteer for aid work but theres so much information i dont know where to start?

i would like to go to africa india or middle east but only for a month or 2 as i have young children. can anyone tell me a good place to start? reputable companies etc

Well my big sister has only just left to go to Uganda and she is really enjoying it, even though she says some of the things she sees are really sad. However, I suggest that you find some friends who would go with you, as these places are not the safest countries in the world. My big sister and her friends didn't go through a company, they booked into a hospital in the capital and stayed at a hotel nearby which the hospital said was good. They are trying to help the people who are in the hospital, and they brought over lots of things to give them. (food etc) Lastly they planned their holiday very thoroughly to make sure that everything would go to plan.

With two young children you would be better off staying with them and working for a local charity. If you have specific interests in the regions you mentioned I am sure you can do something in your area to help them.
Your children need you more than any charity - wait until they are older!!!
