Consequences on AIDS being used as Murder?

Hi im writing a fake bill for my history class and it is about how AIDS can be used as murder, and this is it.

Be it enacted
That a patient with the blood born path disease AIDS knowingly infects another person, will be charged as if they used a weapon.

Do the you people of the United states thinks that is a fair bill if it was to actully be passed as a real law. and if you do what do you think would be good consequences for that person actions?

Also if you have any information on new articles on people who have used AIDS to harm others lives?

P.S please dont but anything bad done if you dont agree just postive thing and good consequences.

I think there already are laws criminalizing the attempted spreading of AIDS.

that's an interesting law, and i think a person, if knowingly gave someone AIDs, should be punished for it. I think i heard somewhere that a dentist was the first guy to forcible give AIDs to his patient, but im not sure about that.

In some states if some one is HIV+ and have unprotected sex without telling their partner it is considered attempted murder, in other states there are no laws.

My question for you is there are thousands of people who are HIV+, but because hey have NEVER had a HIV test they do even know they have the virus, what about these people, what would your bill suggest for them?
