Where can I find information for people 35 and younger, on fix income to help pay for hearing aids,?

When your on disability and medicaid and medicare wont help pay for one.

There are some organizations that help pay for hearing aids, however they usually help children before adults cause they need them for school. Variety Club payed for hearing aids for me when I was younger. You can try lions club cause they take donated hearing aids. If your hearing loss prevents you from working vocational rehab can help with hearing aids. If you are on disability for something else and can't work, don't know if they would still help. A lot of audiologist will have a payment plan you can pay monthly for the hearing aids if you ask around surely there is one in your area.

Also the starkey hearing aid manufacturer has a hear now program http://www.sotheworldmayhear.org/hearnow... you can see if you qualify and apply for a refurbished hearing aid.

I think they would cover this, IF your doctor's made the recommendation, by clasifing you hearing as seriously bad. You might try your local Lion's Club too.

Well there is saying nothing is free and the same so is hearing aids.
A number of different hearing manufacturers will supply free hearing AIds to selected individuals if there is a dispenser that is also willing to provide their services for free.
Suggest you write or e-mail each manufacturer with your problems and what you are requesting and see what they can provide for you for both service and fitting as well as aids.
So many times free hearing aids are given out than the service provider charges the client for service fee's or they cannot afford batteries and stop using the aids when the batteries run out.
Next search out different social, government or service groups such as the United Way, Masonic Lodges, Elks, etc. and see if there is benevolence. These groups raise a lot of money ta ht shoudl be spent on people requiring devices not salaries.
If the aids are required for employment seek assistance with social , employment services.
So ask around have a requested letter for reasons you need hearing aids and find a dispenser or audiologist that is willing to rpovide thier services also "pro bono"
