Need Help! How do I make my presentation interesting?

I've got a 7 minute oral presentation to do on the topic "You are what you eat: a study of the role of diet and nutrition in health, lifestyle and longevity. Which diets lead to better health and why?" I have chosen to talk about the Mediterranean diet and the Okinawan diet, but due to the scientific background of my topic can't really seem to think of a way to include the audience. I will be using powerpoint as visual aid, but would like my presentation to be remembered for the right reasons and make it enjoyable. I need a way to get my message across, something really simple but effective. Just a bit of b/ground info; Okinawa has the most people living over 100 which is why I have chosen to find out why exactly they are living so long, it is to do with the fact that they have a low caloric diet. The Med. diet on the other hand is known for lowering the risk of heart disease resulting in longevity, due to their high consumption of olive oil, fish etc etc.

Maybe you could make up some snacks and samples of the foods on both of these diets so that people can get a better idea of what tye of food are in these diets. Then you could go into some further detail and explain how for example, red wine and olives (in the med. diet) are benefical for the heart, etc. And you can also explain how easy it is to start a diet like this and how great it taste to follow this kind of diet, etc.

Besides the Mediterranean diet two other very healthy diets that you may want to investigate are the Pritikin diet and a vegetarian diet.
