Is America and our Troops being UNDERMINED by it's Democratic Congress?

Re: WAR FUNDING BILL

To many on the left, this is good news.

To others it's an attempt by our Democratic led Congress to undermine the war effort in Iraq while imposing major restrictions on the Bush administration and making efforts to "extract" information from prisoner interrogations almost futile.

1) House Democratic leaders unveiled legislation Tuesday that conditions the money on withdrawing U.S. troops from Iraq.

2) The requirement would be that the Pentagon begin withdrawing U.S. troops, with the goal of removing ALL combat forces by 2010.

3) The bill would redirect more than $3 billion of the president's request to pay for international food aid, levees in New Orleans and more resources for military child-care centers and hospitals.

4) The bill requires the U.S. to adhere to prisoner interrogation standards which bans "waterboarding".

Is this Democratic Congress holding our troops hostage?

I'm in agreement with you and we can see it by the flip flop. Hilary and obama used this at the beginning of the primaries but realized it was exposing them more than it did Bush.
They forgot there are families of those service people watching what they are doing and saying about "SUPPORTING OUR TROOPS" and they finally realized WE are the people that are voting, and we are not to ignorant to see through what they are doing..Bush win the war at all costs to keep our country safe...Demos win this election at all costs the hell with the people

Why are our troops in Iraq in the first place. Withdrawing them will give American life to them instead of making them living zombies for rest of their life. Mental strain is robbing their life for no reason(except looting the oil-fields for oil industry, we use our troops).

The Republicans are playing the same games. Bush won't sign any bill unless it's exactly as he wants, thus framing dems as the bad guys.

Both sides are playing games with the troops and both sides need to be voted out of office.
