How can I find info. about the house I live in? Who lived there before me? Did any tragedies happen there?

I believe my home is haunted, and I am searching for online access as to how I can find info. on my house. Also the land that the home sits on. Like who live there before me and if anything tragic ever happened there. Any online resources to aid in historical info. on land and homes in the city I live in would be helpful.

The County should have info on the previous title holders. You can also do a search on your property online for any previous owners. Try doing a people search based on the address and you could get owners or previous tenants names popped up. try www.USsearch.com or www.peoplesearch.com and use the address. Try going down to your local library to search microfiche on old newspaper articles on your address. By the way where do you live that would help.

better look for some neighbor who live there many years and ask them about the house background. who owns it and ask them if there's something happen to your house before you move in.
