What happens to people who has aids? |
i need info on what happens to people who have aids. AIDS is a disease caused by the HIV virus that breaks down the immune system. it makes it impossible to get rid of diseases. a common cold can turn into pneumonia. HIV is contagious and can only be transfered by liquid to liquid. sexual relations may give you HIV. if found early it can be slowed down. Think of people who have a vision problem. They need to wear contacts or glasses. Someone who has AIDS has a problem with the immune system recognizing the threat of invading microbes. The immune system needs some contacts or glasses to see these invaders. The new approach of slowing the immune response long enough to protect the vulnerable cells will enable the immune system to destroy these invading microbes.
