Government grants??

I've read about success stories of students getting sometimes over $100K in free money from the government in the form of an education grant. I would need about half that amount to pay for my entire undergrad degree with no student loans or other financial aid.

Then I found out from my mom who used to help write grants for a school district, that it's a lot harder than these success stories make it out to be.

What kind of information do I need to give the government when applying for a grant? I mean, do I need to say that I need the money to get my degree so I can have the necessary education to invent some kind of new revolutionary network security (my major)??

I thought that government grants were different from scholarships because they weren't bias in terms of you having to write an essay and then either get it or don't out of all these other applicants. I thought you just applied and that was it.

So, what exactly is involved in writing up for a government grant?

This is a research problem. I would hjelp you research it, but i dont need any of their services. Therefore my aid would be no aid for myy interest would not make a spark the size of one blink from a lightning bug.

There is a thing, called information,there is a thing called data, ad there is a thing called knowledge! This knowledge alone will raise your I/Q 25 points. (I/Q is the sopeed at which one learns, also known as the learning curve. it is like a speedometer. The faster your 'VEHICLE' can cruise, the more you learn, and the more you learn, the faster your "vehicle" can cuise.

What is a vehicle? It is a category or categorical topic whjich parallels the topic bneing researched, and acts as a storage and retrieval guide for the (PPC) learning process.

My system, has seven vehicles, on a seven lane superhiway, (INFORMATION SUPER HIGHWAY). Each vehicle is a diferent color, and is operated for one day each week. This means there is a diffeent colored "VEHICLE" for each day.

You may listen to the radio, on any channel, you may use the gps for any reason, you may store and retrieve information on any topic, (SHADE) .

This is my colorcoded sitemap/calendar. It is the colorcode control mechanism for controlling which vehicle is used in any project at any time. because it tells you which lane your Vehicle is in, and what color the "VEHICLE" is, and what the data category is for the day. The day is a color frequency!

You see Possibility is "COLLAGE", probability is a "COLLEGE", and certainty is " KNOWLEDGE"!

In your case the "collage" is government grants! The "college" therefore would be the data pertinent to your probability 'DATABASE", the certainty would be the "knowledge" you achieve which leads to successful results. You see if you can do this you can have success in any idea. but if not , then you willnever get a greant, you will not qualify for a grant, and you will never even find a grant.
