Do tuition reimbursement companies check how much you get for financial aid?

I am receiving financial aid which is supposed to help me pay tuition, fees, books, supplies, transportation and living expenses. The company I work for offers 100% tuition reimbursement but only covers what the financial aid doesn't cover, which means I would be left with nothing and they wouldn't pay me at all. Is there a way for them to find out how much I got from financial aid? Would they have access to that kind of information? Thanks for your help!!!

They way they work is I pay and when I finish my classes I send the bill with what I paid and my grades as well as any other receipts. After they get that they refund me the money through my paycheck. It gets included in my salary.

I get tuition reimbursement, and my job can't get the info on my financial aid, but they can contact the school and find out the cost of my classes and my grades, that's it.

yes, they will only cover tuition. so, when its time for them to pay, they contact the school to find out how much to pay. if you do not owe anything, they will not send a check. that's how most places do it anyway.

Other places may have you send in a copy of your tuition bill and then they'll send a check to the school or you.

i would talk to someone at the company though, because if part of your student aide is loans, they should pay for that. but if its all grant money, you're out of luck.
