Domestic Issues 1970s About AIDS?

Hello I need to write an article about Domestic Issues concerning AIDs in the 1970s does anyone have a link to some information of this matter or some explanations?

~You might want to read about the Hepatitis B experiments on the gay community in New York in the mid-70s or in Amsterdam in the late 70s/early 80s, or about the smallpox vaccine program in Africa a few years later. Make note of the CDC, Fort Detrick, National Institute of Health and National Cancer Institute connections. Then, if you can find anything about it, read up on HR 15090. The Department of Defense requested, and got, an appropriation of $10 million in 1970 for a five to ten year program to create a new man-made virus for bacteriological warfare. The vaccine programs started during that 5-10 year window and Fort Detrick's programs were transferred to CDC, NIH and NCI. At about the same time, Robert McNamara, as head of the World Bank, was speaking of the global population crisis and saying that if it went unabated, certain catastrophe would be sure to follow. He made it abundantly clear that the only way to prevent the chaos that was coming was to reduce the global birth rate or increase the global death rate. He acknowledged that the former would never work.

For some really scary stuff, just search "man made AIDS". Given that AIDS was already widespread in the gay communities where the Hepatitis experiments were conducted long before it was discovered in Africa (in the regions where the smallpox vaccine was used and where the monkeys used to generated vaccine viruses were repatriated) and that the strain of virus in Africa was different than that in the gay men, the argument that AIDS is man-made and was deliberately introduced is compelling. Although AIDS was not named and publicized until 1981, when it hit the straight community, a disproportionately large number of the gay 'subjects' of the Hepatitis experiments had been dying from HIV/AIDS symptoms for a couple of years by then.

If you want it, start with the The Strecker Memorandum (1983) or anything on the topic by Alan Cantwell, MD. The sources they site will give you more than you probably want to know. I am not pushing any conspiracy theory here. I have read the information and drawn my own conclusions. You should do the same. I'm not sure if I'm more scared or incensed, but I am not surprised given the (documented and admitted) medical experiments that my government has conducted on its unknowing and unwitting citizens for most of the last century. AIDS was not identified until 1981.

you essay is moot. AIDS did not appear before 1981. It was unimaginable in the 70s.
