Do vitamins for memory aid actually work?

Are there any memory aid supplements that are actually decent enough to help? What are some actual ways to increase the ability to move information from short term memory to long term?

My memory has been absolutely shocking since young.
Just recently a friend recommended I start taking "fish oil caplets" .. I've been taking one a day for almost a month now,
and my memory has dramatically improved.

Also things like doing simple tasks such as crosswords and playing "memory" really activate the part of the brain that increases your memory..

Most memory aid supplements increase bloodflow to the brain. The best way to get something from short to long erm memory is just repitition.

They're unlikely to do any good at all,
unless there's a vitamin deficiency causing the problem.
