College question?

I'm interested in going in fall of 2011 and majoring in business. I want to know what do you have to do when applying to college(essay,financial aid,etc). I also want to know what the classes are like.

You should start looking at colleges right now. Compare programs, costs, distance, activities, etc. Many college's websites have a form that you can fill out and they will send you stuff in the mail. Then, in like Sept. or Oct 2010 you should start applying. The application form will be on the college's website, fill it out, answer the essay, etc. and send it off. Financial aid is filled out after you decide which school you are going to and have been accepted. You go to the FASFA website and complete the form. I would also apply for scholarships. (FastWeb or ones in your area)

As far as college classes goes. Some can be really fun. I have had a lot of great professors who have taught me a lot and provided me with great experiences. Some, however, weren't that great, but you will have that. I'd suggest going to ratemyprofessor.com before registering for classes... it gives you ratings and descriptions on professors at the college.

I would also look into clubs and activities on campus. Joining a magazine, PR club, newspaper, club sport, etc. can be very rewarding and set you up for future career opportunities.
