I will be 21 next Saturday, and will have 2 kids by November. I have a diploma, and want a degree...?

I never planned on NOT going to college straight out of HS. However, thats where I am now. I am with my child(ren)'s father, and am on WIC and public assistance for FoodStamps. I live in low income housing and have a job with my uncle for $8/hr, 16-24 hrs a week. My fiance is still looking for a line cook job in our area's horrible job market (zip code:19013). I NEED to go for my degree. I got a diploma for Medical Billing and Coding just to get a "good" job while going for what I want to do - Info Tech. I finished, and tried to go back but my financial aid screwed up and I can't get personal loans. I already have $8000 in Stafford loans and would hate to get more, but I am desperate. I don't know how to get along - even with the gov't aid, it's STILL hard and I HATE being a "recipient" - I am using this now to help me get my feet back on the ground. Only thing is - how to get back up on my feet???? Please help.

You and your hubby need to come to Canada. Alberta is BOOMING and we cannot find enough people to work. Just working at a Tim Hortons (coffee/doughnut shop) would pay you between $16-18 an hour plus benefits, and an education fund! Your fiance can also work up north in the oil fields and make LOTS of money...enough that you wouldn't have to work. Take it into consideration. Good luck!
