Okay, 1. Benton's ex died and her new hubby/bf contended for the kid's custody whe she died.
2. Carol moved to Seattle to be with Dr. Ross.
3. He died in a freak accident, a helicopter crushed him
4. Jeanie was HIV positive and she appeared in this last season. As for AIDS, she has been healthy and working with HIV infected people.

well I can do 3 out of 4. I haven't watched for a couple years.
