FAFSA? Now What...?

I finished my FAFSA and after it was all done, a day later it told me this:

"Based on the information we have on record for you..... You are not eligible for a Federal Pell Grant but you may be eligible for other aid. Your school will use your EFC to determine your financial aid eligibility for other federal grants, loans, and work study, and possible funding from your state and school."

I've *never* done FAFSA before so I'm confused as to what I do next... Do I wait? Fill other things out? I'm not sure what I do next.

I need a student loan otherwise I can't attend school (In Spring 09).

Yeah, the school I'm applying to told me that with the GPA I have right now, I can get an automatic grant of $11,000, and being in the honor society I get $2,500 as well. - I'm not too sure how many other scholarships I can apply for (I applied for one, they said I got it, but they needed Spring 08's grades, I sent them in, but haven't heard from them yet..) -- [ Thanks for the quick responses! :-) ]

After a month or so, you will get a letter from your schools financial aid office asking you for more information and sometimes they will have you send in certain documents. Sometimes you can go to the schools financial aid website and the forms will be posted for you to print and send in. Here is a good book. Look for a flo chart that shows exactly what happens and when.

Yeah, you are pretty much in the waiting process right now. I filled out my FAFSA for the second time about 2 and a half months ago and I just got my financial aid paper work from my school back in the mail today. I can't say yours will take that long, but you are in the waiting process. You could still be searching for scholarships in the mean time though so you don't have to take so much out in loans.
