Need help finding a disability doll!?!? |
Im trying to find one that has hearing aids and glasses for my daughter. My online search has been fruitless. I haven't found hard plastic ones. It seems they're mostly cloth, but there are some vinyl ones. Why not write to some companies and suggest they market plastic dolls with disabilities? Complaints are what motivated some companies to take action. So why not approach them with a friendly suggestion and encourage other parents to do they same (even if their children don't have disabilities)? Worst case scenario no one will want to manufacture hard plastic anymore because so many companies are making efforts to "go green." I think it's a neat idea, having a doll you can identify with. I hope your daughter gets a lot of enjoyment from whatever doll(s) you get her. :o) Report Abuse |
