Was my financial aid incorrectly canceled??

I received my direct loan approval notification on thursday, by friday received a letter from my intended school stating that i have been disqualified for federal aid due to academic progress. I called the school and they stated that i have a less than 70% completion rate, 65% to be exact. So i go ahead with my appeals letter and am ready to send out. I print my transcript that the university has and notice something. My last semester at my comm coll (spring 08) has not been credited to my Univ transcript. The last transcript i had sent was in march before the completion of these three courses. I did the math and if these three courses were included on my transcript that the Univ has in their system my completion rate would be 72%.


Now, If i i send an updated transcript to the Univ, with proof of my completion of these three classes, will they credit and update my transcript and see that i pass the requirement with a 72 %??

Do i still have to appeal, with this information??

You should be fine with financial aid as soon as you can provide documentation in the form of an official transcript.

But, you have another problem. Your completion percentage indicates a problem. Maybe poor course selection, maybe a lack of effort, maybe poor studies skills...I have no clue, but there is a problem that can keep you from finishing college if not corrected. Talk with your adviser or a counselor to determine how you can turn things around.
