Financial Aid Question |
If you are 24 or over (which is the age you can apply without having to put your parents info), do you need to live by yourself to do this? Or can you still live with your parents and apply for yourself only? yes you can. All you have to do is file as independent but then they will ask you for all of your income tax papers and income information. Depending on what you made, that is what they will use in order to determine how much financial adi you should get. You can still live with your parents and apply for yourself only. When you fill out the paperwork, mark that you're independent. Then the form will use your income and financial status instead of your parents'. Good Luck! |
