Problem with Baptists?

Hey everybody im 22 and living in Boston. A couple of months ago the Westboro Baptist Church held a protest here. I went to heckle them and hurt them. They started to do a weird ritual on me trying to damn me into hell, weird, huh? They got all my info and tracked me down when i went to my cousin's funeral who died from AIDS. They stood right outside of the church, i went out, and knocked a guy out. They then sent me chain letters. I'm not gay, but i have a friend of mine living with me who is a male, and while they were in Boston, they would hold up signs on my lawn "God Hates F*gs", and other anti-gay speeches. I finally beat the sh*t out of a guy and got myself fined. And they wouldn't stop sending me e-mails and letters since then. Why are they so f*cking crazy and how do i make them stop?

I'm not sure if your question is legit, but keep in mind, you also provoked them before they came after you. And while I strongly disagree with their tactics, I steer clear, as you should have done.

beating them up won't help you. It can only get you intro trouble. If I were you I'd file a police report and a restraining order. I would also document any incidents. When they took place (time, date), what happened exactly and any physical evidence or notorized witness testimony (mourners at the funeral). In the future, let them protest. It's their constitutional right.

Not all Baptist act like this and not all who say they are Christians are.

There actions are repulsive. How do you stop them? Make a police report for harrassment. keep all the emails and letters to show the trail and report them!!!!!

There are many that want to take this peice and that part of the Bible to justify their hate. It's not Christianity. The Bible staes in the end there will be many they claim they are of me but I know them not. I a Baptist and I would stand against their hate protests. The best thing you can do is Pray forgivness for them.

Man I'm sorry you have to go through all of that...it truly is messed up. I agree that there are some radicals in every walk of life...even more so in religions...my only thing is, don't hate the Baptists because of it...yea there are some idiots that rallied, but that doesn't mean the baptist church as a whole is bad, just the idiots that held those signs up! If you are serious, try to get a restraining order or something? If they tracking you down and harrassing you, do something about it.

if this really happened, can you give us the case number? it will be public record if you plead guilty and pay a fine. do not fight, even with homos. or baptists. or anyone else.

it is called assault, sometimes battery, sometimes it is just called stupidity if the judge is going to let you off.

Why are you blaming them? You started it. Now you suffer the consequences for your actions and blame your problems on them. You're 22 ... time to think about maturity and responsibility.

The way to fight a lawyer is with another one sue the bastards for hate crimes and if the police refuse to prosecute sue them and the DA .

Get a restraining order. Stop reacting to them with violence - if you throw gasoline on a fire it only makes it bigger ...

I grew up down the street from Fred Phelps .... and believe me ... the second you ignore them they will move on ...
