Does anybody use digital hearing aids?I do and I am constantly having trouble with them.?

I have a pair of phonak audeo,and resound air.I have had trouble with both of them going dead,and having to have either new tubes or new microphone.Anyone got any info about this?Very expensive aids.Is this a common problem?Jean.

Well mines a Phonak too , supplied by NHS hospital. OK batteries go flat... had tube trouble , but bought a supply of tubes from a wholesaler and replace them myself... There is a free service at the hospital, but it means waiting most of a Tuesday afternoon to be done, Its the only time.. Had mine checked at Boots , the audiologist there did me a favour, He said mine was a good one, programmed corectly, and if I got the same from him would cost nearly 拢600. So NHS is not all bad . So soorry you have the problems seems private aids and companies are very expensive,,
