Do you know about Operation Brimstone? Is War with Iran really necessary or wise?

There are a large number of warships headed for Iran from the US, Britain and France, positioning themselves to set up a blockade around Iran. This is a blatant act of war. It seems Bush is determined to drag us into World War III, for no other reason than to steal yet another country's oil. The Iraq conflict was all about oil, and to some extent, so is this. You really have to be extremely stupid to think it was about removing Saddam or 'regime change'. After all America has no problem dealing with despots such as the Saudi Arabians, who preside over one of the most repressive and brutal regimes in the world.

May I explain it in Freudian terms? The USA thinks it has the biggest dick on the planet. Used to be Egypt, used to be Greece, used to be Rome, used to be France, used to be the UK, now it's the US. Long before most people who read this were born, some people in Iran overthrew a stupid despot Iranian king that the CIA had put in place so that he would be a puppet of the US's global plans. OK, fair enough since all is fair in love and war. But the people (mostly students.... oooo bad, smartass young people) who overthrew the corrupt Iranian 'shah' (king) carried out the bad tactic of taking American hostages and keeping them captive for 4 million days. Every single day reported on the news and every single day a challenge that these young ***** were bigger and harder than the US's dick. Some (older) people have never forgot that, just as some dinosaurs are still upset at Jane Fonda, and these people are not very bright but they have looooong memories and they tend to hold crazy grudges.

This whole thing with Iran has to do with some not-too-bright people wanting to get back at Iran for 'humiliating' the US Empire. Challenging the size of the US's dick. They must be punished, even if it brings us to WWIII and the death of THOUSANDS of innocent people. It's a manly (read dick size) thing. And it falls entirely in the lap of Americans, who have sold the birthright of brave and valiant founding fathers for Dancing With The Stars and bread and circuses entertainment, that they actually elected... TWICE... a group of the stupidest rich c*nt slackers on the face of the earth to run the USA into the ground. George W. Bush? Rich coke sniffing alkie n'er do well? A C-student (with grace)? Good choice, there.

And still, at the abyss of the end of the USA, no one is turning up in the streets, no one is writing their corrupt, bought-out 'representatives', they are just watching TV as the world comes to the brink of disaster. Look at the Most Popular Strories on CNN and other corporate media sites. Which baby was born with two heads and what did Lindsay or Paris say today? This is the way the world ends, this is the way the world ends. This is the way the world ends, not with a bang but with a whimper.

In answer to your question the positive answer is of course a great big NO! But, and there's always a but, where would we be without oil? my job, your job, little babies in incubators, everything we see we see oil, and we can't allow despots like the current Iranian president (who is not a very popular person with the people) dictate or hold us to ransom.

thanks for the link. None of these countries want war with one another in reality we all would lose in the end, meaning USA/nato and Russia. The US should let Russia have that country, you can't win them all US Government so wake UP! I don't care how many secret weapons the US or Russia have there is no place to hide.

It's not that is running out (barrell prices are not a reflection of its rareity). But that the US does not want anyone to controll production. They want COMPLETE control of the worlds oil.

It's about oil! Yes we would lose to Iran in a war! Because our economy sucks and the government is stupid and are puppets for rich jerks that are greedy and would kill their own families for profit! The people who support them either have no idea or are afraid to lose faith in the government! Why couldn't the US and allies just cut dependency from oil. If we are going to do damage we should have India jump in to take Iran and Israel to take on Saudi Arabia then We would take care of Russia.

"NECESSARY".... Israel has the only dog in this fight..... I predict if Iran does not back down Israel will destroy their nuclear facilities before 1 January

Israel has send three clear warning to Iran that they will NOT allow them to obtain a nuclear bomb
1) They raided the Syrian nuclear reactor.....cutting through the Syrian defenses like a hot knife through butter ( the same Russian made defenses Iran has)
2) They sent their bombers on a "training mission to Italy.....the same distance to the Iran reactors
3)They are acquiring MORE long range bombers

The increased pressure from America is to "hope" to avoid this attack.....we will not attack.....and we are trying to keep Israel from attacking by forcing Iran to back down....

NOW for your absurd reference to "OIL".... How is the war in Iraq about oil.....How has Bush or his cronies made one dime from Iraq oil.... If anything by rebuilding the Iraq oil industry and allowing them to produce more oil than EVER.....they in fact increased the worlds oil supply and kept oil profits down ( supply and demand economics)

It's just a naval exercise involving a number of different countries.They're quite common.Russia and America were due to have a joint one soon but after what happened in Georgia the Americans don't want to play any more.
Brimstone does have an element of 'warning' to Iran about it though but unless Iran makes any really threatening moves the west have no real cause to go in to action.Never stopped George before,right enough.
