HELP?! what do i do about my toe?!?!? |
mkay so juss a few minutes ago my cousin swung open the door and hit my big toe super hard. it started bleeding and the nail got half cut off. but the problem is that its a crack, like the full nail is still there but half of it is coming off. i have noooo idea what to do and there is nooo way i wanna tear it off cuz its gonna hurt like crazy. i already poured some hydrogen peroxide solution but idk what to do next. do i cover it with a band aid? also im terrified to go swimming or juss walk around cuz im afraid to hit it again. will it get infected? im freaking out!! and please put useful information that will actually help me. i know its kinda funny but still HELP!! just leave it be and put a band-aid on it. it may hurt like a ****** for awhile but itll get better. also remember to put hydrogen peroxide on it often to prevent infection. if it doesnt get any better after a while or starts to get worse like swelling up alot more than it usually would, i highly suggest seeing a doctor. It has happened to me before except i squished my toe with a 20 pound dumbbell. i did exactly what i told you to do and it got better in a month give or take. I hope you feel better! Keep it clean and wrap it up. Your nail will eventually turn black/blue and then fall off. |
