I am moving out at 18 but not sure what needs to be Considered other than pa ying bills.

I plan on moving out at 18 to a house but i am not sure what precautions i have to take in order to be secure such as health insurance and tax information. please shedsome light on things that need to be squared away while i am depending on myself. I am movingout due to college aid if i live by myself i can obtain more money.

You have to do everything yourself.

First is bills: rent, food, electricity, gas, cable, internet, phone, car insurance and on top of that if you have: cell, car

You can't be on you parent's insurance anymore.

Your taxes will come in the mail, for property taxes on your car. You don't have to pay property taxes on the house unless you bought it, if you are renting your landlord is responsible for that.

You will have to file your own taxes for work with your W2.

Basically everything your parents do for you now, you have to do.

If you move out AND ARE SELF-SUPPORTING you might be eligible for more financial aid, but not if your parents are still contributing significantly to your support.

That aside, there are many additional expenses that you don't list. The basic things like furniture, dishes, towels, sheets, wastebaskets, mops, etc etc etc. Then buying things like food, soap.....
