What do you think of this student-teacher predicament? |
Ok so there is a class at my school that you can take and be a teacher's aid. I asked my history teacher from last year if he would need one and he was like, "yes and you would be perfect for it." So before summer he sent an email to the lady that runs the program saying something to the effect of "I know it's early to ask but I want Katie next year" So I didn't think much about it but when i went to information day i ran into him and he said he talked to her the other day and is making sure that he gets me. He also used to do stuff last year like pick on me about little things in like a flirty kind of way. He would tell me things that i wasn't allowed to repeat like his opinions on certain misbehaving students and he was like "you always brighten my day when you walk into the room" the thing is i like the attention but im not sure if this is going to go somewhere that i dont want it to. Advice? He might just be friendly? Sounds like your intuition is telling you something. The bottom line is this, you asking for advice because your uncomfortable with this. So remove yourself from the cituation and inform your counsler or some other trusting adult that you are comfortable talking to. I think it is up to you to make sure that is goes nowhere. Be very careful and I mean very careful. wow i had the same thing. |
