How would i go about starting a debate team...?

PLEASE! if anyone has any links talking about how to start a debate team would be more than desireable. The Principal at my school saidi have to type up a letter telling the school board my reasons why to start a team, and as for financial aid for it. How would i go about getting a coach? just as teachers in my school? if anyone has any information at all...i'd love to hear it.

Our school has a debate team, and it is run by the teachers, with a class, but when it first started it was a club and whoever wanted to join came in the mornings, and participated. I have included websites that should help you start your club. Good Luck! :)
