If i drop out of college, Do I have to pay back my financial aid?

I am ill at this point in time, and would like to know if I go on medical leave do i have to pay back any of my financial aid? It is the school's fault that I am forced to leave, i tried to work with them, but they do not want to help me in anyway possible. Thank you for any information you can give me.

Yes, but you don't have to pay it back immediately. I think you have to be out of school for 6 months. And then, you can write to ask to defer payment. And if you resume school, then you don't have to pay it back.

But don't leave school! Or just leave this semester, till you get your housing situation settled for next semester.

basically by financial aid i am guessing you mean a student loan. if that it that case it is a loan, you will be expected to pay it back whether you get your degree or not

in quebec of canada, student loan will be the same way as american home mortgage? think about it

well your unsub and sub loans they will start sending u the bills after 6 months of leave, then you can contact the lender and see what they can do

i would cause if u don't pay it could be on your credit.
