Can i apply 4 FAFSA or other financial aid if my parents are illegal?

I was born here but they weren't. So how would that work out when filinq 4 FAFSA were you have to write tax info? Can I put another family member instead of them that does taxes?

Do your parents have a tax payer identification number? If they do they would use that in place of a social security number.

If they don't, unfortunately, you cannot apply for FAFSA. You cannot put another family member in their place.

I know it stinks, and you're getting penalized, but those are the federal regulations.
