US healthcare, do you know our ranking?

However, we rank #1 in SURVIVAL RATES for things like cancer and aids, as well as #1 for responsiveness to patient care.
Why are we 37th? Well, we are ranked #54 in "fairness" by the UN, who is the one who makes the ranking, even though our out of pocket expenses are similar to those found in France, ranked #1.
What does the UN mean when it says "fairness"? Well, our system is not socialized. The UN feels socialism is fair.

I guess the question is, what is more important, survival rates (across the population) or finance?

I would really like you know what you mean by "SURVIVAL RATES," because in the US, there are 40,000 preventable deaths each year just because people don't have adequate health insurance and US is actually 37th in life expectancy. Perhaps this number includes only those lucky enough to be treated at all? And what do you mean by "responsiveness to patient care" when people are sitting in emergency rooms so long they die from blood clots forming in their legs while doctors step over their bodies?

France spends $3500 per capita in healthcare and US spends $6100. Keep in mind that the US covers a much smaller percentage of the population, so the actual per person spending on healthcare is much higher. Out of 19 industrialized countries, US is ranked 19th. France is ranked first.

Still think socialism is unfair?
