Should I give up on getting a bachelors degree?

I've been in college (on and off) since 2000 and I am a little tired of it. My major is Psychology. First time I went to college in 2000 was after high school, I attended UC Davis. I was only there for one quarter and failed all my classes that I had to drop out of school. I was depressed for a whole year because of that. I wanted so badly to do well but I didn't have any money and financial aid was not enough to buy supplies I needed. It was a horrible period for me.

So a family member introduced me to DeVry Institute of Technology (now called DeVry University). I went there for a year and a half, thought I was going to finish the degree program but the tuition was extremely high and I wasn't able to pay the tuition so I had to drop out, plus they kept harrassing me to pay the tuition and I told them I didn't have enough money to do so. My parents had too dig into their home savings money to pay the tuition.

At that time I thought, well I should just go to a community college. So I decided I'll go to El Camino College in 2004. I picked this school because it wasn't too far from a job I had through a staffing agency but the place of employment didn't want me to come back, but I had already registered there that I decided to stay there. At first I changed my major to Business Administration because it similar to what I was taking at DeVry (it was Business Information Systems). But didn't do too good in the major that I decided to go back to Psychology. At first I was doing fine, 2005 was great I passed all my classes with only A's and B's. Just when I'm about finish in order to transfer to a university, I get stuck with Statistics, Biological Psychology, and Biology or Anatomy. I've never been good in math or science and failed miserably in these courses. Right now I'm taking Statistics and Biological Psychology at Los Angeles City College in order to transfer to a 4 year university. Since 2000 I've taken Statistics 5 times. This time is my 6th and I wish I can pass it but it doesn't look like that is going to happen. I work full time so I don't have a lot of time to study.

Should I give up on getting a bachelors degree? I'm intrested in Workers Compensation and thinking about getting a certificate in that and getting a job as a Workers Compensation Technician or Secretary.

I think what you need most is a good counselor who can advise you on the wisest course of study, but by all means look into the WC jobs, but make sure whatever you do choose you research thoroughly first and never give up, remember that 17 year old girl who was homeless and washed dishes and studied while she worked and got a scholarship to Harvard.
