19 live with aunt and parents dont want anything to do with me? |
I only took one semester of college last year and then i had to drop out because my parents did not want to help me with my education and when i applied for fafsa it said that they made too much money ( even though they didnt). I moved to Texas and I want to go back to school. I looked at the fafsa website and i am still a dependent. My parents dont want anything to do with me anymore and I know they defenitely dont want to put their taxes on the fafsa. is there a way that I can get aid from the government to go back to school without having my parents information in it? If you are not being supported by them, then you are not their dependent. Talk to a counselor at the school you wish to enroll at and find out your options. Good luck. |
