My suggestion to you would be to find a new church! Non denom are good churches that don't JUDGE... as far as sleeping with a man...if you have the urge to sleep with a man, then you are NOT a lesbian and you really don't need to be getting married. If you and your partner are in a monogamous relationship and have been since you met, then hopefully you would know by know if she were infected with AIDS or any other STD. You have a greater chance of GIVING her AIDS if you go outside the marriage and sleep with a man. If you feel protection is needed in your marriage then you need to speak to your wife about that and why you feel that you need it. I think before you rush into a HUGE commitment of marrying into the same sex and taking all that has to offer on, you need to sit back and ask yourself if this is really what you want. AFAIK, it is next to impossible for you to get AIDS from sex with a female partner. But if you have ANY questions about it, why not ask your girlfriend to get HIV tested? Then when the test comes back negative as I'm sure it will, you'll know you have nothing to worry about -- as long as you remain monogamously faithful to your girlfriend. You DO know, I hope, that your risk of getting HIV is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH higher if you have sex with a man than if you have sex only with women? Lesbians have the absolute LOWEST incidence of HIV/AIDS than any other group in society.

And if you haven't known your girlfriend for very long, and don't know if you love her, and think you might want to have sex with men, then maybe you should put off marrying her until you're sure.
