Does anyone know anything about Financial Aid? Can you please give me some information. Please?

Does anyone have a student loan? How much are your payments? Do you pay back monthly? How does this work? Could someone please explain a little of this to me? I am fixing to enroll in online college for a 4 year degree in bachelor of social science. I know that I can apply for federal aid and a pell grant but I am worried about paying it back. How does all this work?

Grants and scholarships are just like having free money. You don't pay those back, they are given to you. And if you have to take out a loan, take a subsidized loan because there is no interest and you don'tt have to start paying them back until 6 months after you graduate with your degree, so it gives you some time to save up the money. You can look for scholarships on the web as well, like at fastweb.com and you can talk to your admissions counselor to see what else you are eligible for. I wish you the best of luck.

Unfortunately student loans are very common. Depending on your student loan amount, monthly payments vary. Generally, payments begin when you withdraw indefinitely or graduate. check out the FAFSA.gov website for more information. You should set up an appt. with financial aid to explain the many types and the process. Good luck.
