Just finished my bio final a few days ago, and here are my answers:

1) Flowers, unlike the others plants, have petals and different colors to attract a variety of pollinators, such as insects and birds.

2) The ovaries contain the ovule, and the ovule is the site of fertilization. Once the egg in the ovule is fertilized by sperm, the ovary will turn into a fruit.

3) (i) Angiosperms produce fruits which animals eat and later disperse the seed in the fruit by defecating it.

(ii) They can produce small seeds, such as that found in orchids, and use the wind to disperse their seeds.

(iii) Some angiosperms have hooks and can catch onto the fur of an animal, and is carried away for later dispersal
