First Aid course: part two?

As in the earlier question, i've done a first aid course before, in CPR about 3 years ago, but now i'm looking for a part time job, am 18. Just a part time job in retail, which one from the site below would be good for that?
http://www.stjohnnsw.com.au/t_fatc.html

Or the most comprehensive - that i would be able to use in everyday situations, but is not too overwhelming in overall content, just right for a teenager?

I'm leaning towards either Emergency First Aid, which seems good enough for what i would need - to be a good citizen and all - or Advanced First Aid, on the advice of another Answerer, but the latter is a LOT of information to grasp, having just finished high school, and uni (hopefully) next, i don't think i'd be able to grasp or even retain most of that info.

Most of the time, luckily, you will only provide the initiation of treatment. The Emergency First aid or Remote Area... look like decent classes.

More importantly than anything, someone needs to make sure that 911 gets called, people are AWAY from the person in trouble, and pay very close attention to details. Any one of us can do this, but few do. Being able to do the first steps in an emergency CAN and DOES save lives! Good for you for being a team player!!

you could do industrial first aid or emergency first aid.
maybe you could be a paramedic next time (:

If it has been three years since your last CPR, you need to have another one. Things have changed.

I agree with pp. The most important is to call 911. Even with all the training, even doctors are always the most helpful without their equipment. You need to get an ambulance with the equipment and training there.

As far as what would be best to benefit your new employer. Most places of employment have a first responder that they train you for. But the CPR would be the most beneficial. Try the American Heart Association or RED CRoss
