Child Support Military?

It took me eight years to finally catch up with my sons father, he is in the military, but the Marine Corps is useless when you try to get any information. He was going to send me 406.50 a month until a court order was in place, but it seems to always be lost in the mail. I've heard that they will at least get back child support if the child has been on state aid, is this true? He drives on an expired license along with his military id. Two states have closed my cases because they couldn't find him....I finally did, when he bought a house, i found his property tax number. What will the state go after if he is required to pay back child support.

~This guy is a wife beater and likes to get engaged to other women while he's still married, the guys a creep. He also claimed married, so that he could get more pay, how do i turn him in for that.

He claimed married even after his divorce....I have contacted his chain of command, they all cover each others asses!!

The problem you're having with the military is the result of thousands of child support claims made in recent years, that it has turned out to be false, but once the order is in place, it cannot be overturned. So don't blame them, blame the women.

In the military, they have what they call the chain of command. Send your letter to the top echelon: Commandant of the Marine Corp, Washington, DC. You can get the specific address on the internet. In your letter give his address if known, Rank, social security number. Tell them the situation and enclose copy of birth certificate

i would call his base commander and file a complaint!!!

I would keep in communication with child support..or seek legal counsel if you continue to have issues with this man and child support

I dealt with this regarding my wife. I filed complaints against the married boyfriend and such, but the didn't seem to care. I figured they are all just covering their a$$es. They did care to ensure that she was up to date on child support payments - that would be the right thing to do (note sarcasm). Regardless, they have seemed vigilant about making sure the money aspect of things is up to date.

It seems like you are dealing with the wrong person/people. With the national guard, they are at the state level and I complained to enough people the state JAG office got involved. I send them a copy of my divorce decree. There is probably some like that for the Marine Corps.

ALSO - remember to document everything. I e-mailed everything to ensure that I had a record of what I was sending, when I was sending it. I never got an e-mail from any of them. They would always call me and I would just note what they said upon a return e-mail.

Well the military don't play when It comes to child support my husband now pays for his daughter that he can't even see and he is getting his taxes taken this year for back support while she collected welfare,
The thing is that the army actually pays the child support for him and it showes on his L.E.S but it is also replaced so he never actually pays outta pocket, get ahold of his commander or sargeant and let them know whats going on and he should get to pay the state is pretty good at collecting you just got to get on them!!
