NEED FINANCIAL AID BEFORE THE FALL SEMEMSTER?

My Girlfriend and I live in Pennsylvania, we dont live together, Im 18 and she is 17. She wants to be a doctor, she wants to go to Elizabethtown, go to med school and then go to Penn State Hershey. She just got her EMT Cert. and she has won Grand Champ and the Science Fair, She is in National Honors Society,She is in the TriM Music Honors Society, She has a 4.5 (scaled) GPA and is second in her class.She is Named District Student of the Month several times, mentioned on the local T.V station as well as in the newspaper. She has all AP classes and already has 18 HACC credits in her Senior Year of High School.
Here is the problem...She was accepted into Elizabethtown College in the honors program and she recieved the highest grant there, 16 thousand dollars a year. Her yearly tuition costs are 38 thousand.That leaves 22 thousand left, that she has to come up with. her parents dont have enough money to pay for college because they are already footing the bill for another child who is achieving D's in college. Which she is pissed about. She is ready to give up among many other problems with her parents. This is her dream, Im supporting her in every way possible, but i cant support her money wise. Does anyone have any information on Grants or scholarships? Please, im doing this for her, if anyone has any information, I want to help her as much as I can. I want to be supportive. Did she apply to some other schools where she might have gotten a better deal financially?
