I believe that the further we distance ourselves from this country the better off our country will be, explain why I am wrong? They have dragged us into the Iraq War, they want to drag us into a war with Iran and they will continue to drag our reputation down along with our economy with the huge 3 billion a year aid we have given them. They have spies throughout our country they steal sensitive information and sell it to people like the Chinese... The longer we are allied with them the worse things will get with our country is my theory. We also give them 3 billion a year in aid how stupid is that. Prove me wrong explain how being allied to a little country the size of Kentucky that the whole worlds hates benefits us?

Think about it, w/o isreal in the region the whole middle east is not stabelized and the already unstable region becomes a powder keg. The central front of terror before 9/11 is in the middle east, and w/o the stability of Isreal oil would be a items for blackmailed. The whole world hates us? No just the muslims hate us because of the freedoms we have. That we do not make the women and children property. That they are first class citizens, the women, we do not make them stay home. We watch shows that degrade everything and do not live under Shira Law.
We support Israel because they are and have a Democratic government.
I did notice that you just give an opinion and show nothing to back it up.

We helped put the Jews in Israel back at the end of the WWII and it is not only US but the rest of the Allied Forces and the nations that granted them that land that should stand beside them.
But, aside from that, it says in the Bible, those who support Israel shall be blessed and those who curse and attack will suffer. I know which side of that equation I want to be on, and with our new, and quite probably incompetent if not overtly malign, president about to take the helm, we need all the help we can get.

Don't be ridiculous. They didn't drag us into the Iraqi war. And we will remain allied with Israel because it is the right thing to do. Let other nations make decisions out of anti-Semtiism or fear of terrorism, we do what is right.

Actually that was the Clinton adminstration who allowed Chinese researchers access to nuclear secrets at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in exchange for campaign donations.
