What tax form should I use? |
I am a dependent college student. I receive financial aid and have worked a work study job in which I earned little more than $1000, and up until August I worked another job in which I probably earned another $1000 or so. You could use any of those forms, but 1040EZ might be EZ-est. You earned very little for the year and if you didn't have any withholdings then there is no need to file any taxes. If you get a W-2 for each job, you can use any of the forms, but 1040EZ is the simplesf. If you get a 1099 from one of the jobs, then you'd use 1040 |
