How much financial aid can one expect from the FAFSA with an EFC of 0?

I filed my FAFSA, no problem, got my processed result back with an EFC of 0, and made sure the information was sent to all of my choice colleges... But nowhere does it actually say how much aid I can expect. Is there an actual standard payout from the FAFSA, or is there really no telling?

In case you can't tell, I'm pretty much lost in all this financial aid jargon.. ^^;

I knew what the EFC was, and I knew the FAFSA determined eligibility for the Pell Grant, but from my understanding the FAFSA determines eligibility for more than just that.
So I guess my question should be... "How much aid can I expect to get in general, based on an EFC of 0?"
If it helps, the colleges in question are approximately 27,000 and 16,000 each.

When I had an EFC of 0 all of my tuition was covered as a full time community college student. So, it depends where you go. You won't get as much $ for a community college as you do for a university because they look at what school will be costing you. However, in my experience, if you go to a community college, most if not all tuition will be covered. If you pick a University, part of your tuition will be covered, possibly all, but probably not.

Also, you will have to factor in that you have books, and living expenses to think about. A lot of times, the loans you might m\be offered will cover some of that. However, you will just have to speak with each school to find out.

Make sure you enroll in each school and contact the financial aid department for each of them. They should be able to tell you what else you have to do. Every college has a financial aid department. If you have completed your FASFA and have added their college, they should be able to help you out a lot!
