Report on the Peace Corps and I need good past volunteer accounts?

Hi. I am in high school and I am writing a paper on the Peace Corps. My thesis is:
Although the Peace Corps faced much controversy and skepticism in their early years, they over came those challenges to serve humanity through the areas of health/HIV/AIDS awareness, education/youth development, and environment/agriculture.
If you were a volunteer and could give me some good quotes and information about your experience or someone elses experience if you weren't a volunteer or some good websites that would be great! Thanks so much. Oh and i really need information from volunteers who worked in one of the aforementioned categories. Thanks!

Also I need a product for this paper. And it can't be just a powerpoint or posterboard. Something more creative. Any ideas would be helpful!

Do I sound a like a text book? I was a Community Economic Development Volunteer in a small and isolated Amerindian Village in Suriname for two years and I am now the volunteer coordinator for our program. I live in the capital city, but I travel out around the country to train current volunteers and their Host Country counterparts in using the PACA method to write project proposals.

I found Peace Corps to be the best opportunity to serve humanity and my own country. I joined when George Bush was reelected, making good on the threat that, if that was to happen, I would leave the country. I decided to do something good to undo at least a small portion of the bad he was doing.

During my service I taught 8 children who had never seen a computer before how to use a mouse, type, open and close programs, right click and various other functions. I helped my local women鈥檚 group start making and marketing crafts to tourists. I taught English to village children. I wrote an illustrated an HIV coloring book, 2 HIV text books and did the technical publication design on Nutrition, Life Skills, Sexual Reproductive health, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, manuals produced by UNICEF and Peace Corps.
